Yes, I went up to Leisure Farm. My main purpose was to make nice and to ride their horses around their property. It was supposed to be a win-win situation. I get a free horse ride (and put up photographic evidence of their horses), and they get to show off the equines.

However (yes, you knew there would be a 'however'), because of Puasa, the handlers are apparently not able to exert themselves physically and therefore we couldn't go on this would-be-exciting trek. Actually the excuse given was that it was Puasa thus they couldn't go on the trek. I'm just logically connecting the physical exertion to the fasting bit.

It does make me wonder why the Muslim army boys in the Singapore Armed Forces who are still made to do strenuous exercise, do not collapse on a daily basis. Surely the causeway between us doesn't make that much difference in bodily endurance?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding Puasa, being a chink and all. If so, please do comment and tell me what a doofus I'm being.
