FIRST DAY

Smoking has been a part of me for so long that I think I let it define me in a some situations. It's a way with dealing with peer pressure, unfamiliar situations, extreme emotions etc. And I'm giving it up.

Why? Cos Aloy told me that he went to his dentist who told him that his teeth are injuring his tongue, and his tongue is regenerating cells too fast which causes lumps, and if he doesn't stop smoking, cancer is a possibility.

Plus, the GST hike is killing me. I figure, quit now and quit the bitching about the most expensive habit I have.

The whole day I've been good. But the first craving just struck. It was a badbad 5 min where I could only think about smoking. What stopped me was the thought o disappointing the people around me, and disappointing myself. I need to prove to myself tht a stupid white stick cant control me.

It's tough hunny.
